MediVas, LLC, to Present Blood and Tissue Compatibility
Data on PEA copolymers at the 30th Annual Society for
Biomaterials Meeting & Exposition in Memphis

SAN DIEGO -- April 21, 2005 -- MediVas, LLC, announced today that Dr. Kristin DeFife, Director of Cell Biology, is presenting blood and tissue compatibility data on its novel amino acid-based Poly(Ester Amide) copolymers (PEA) to attendees at the 30th Annual Society for Biomaterials conference. The MediVas presentation is scheduled for the cardiovascular biomaterials II: surface interactions session from 1-3pm on Friday, April 29th. The convention is being held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center.
