MediVas, LLC, to Present New Biopolymer Data at the 224th Annual American Chemical Society Conference
SAN DIEGO -- March 4, 2005 -- MediVas, LLC, announced today that Dr. Huashi Zhang will present new data on its novel amino acid-based Poly(Ester Amide) copolymers (PEA) to scientists attending the 224th Annual American Chemical Society (ACS) Conference. The annual event is being held at the San Diego Convention Center from March 13 - 17, 2005. MediVas will highlight its excellent twelve month follow-up data for the First in Man clinical trial (NOBLESSE) on functionalized PEA, which revealed the safety and efficacy of the company's flagship biodegradable PEA polymer. The "programmable" nature of PEA polymers and its strong biocompatibility profile make it an excellent choice for a wide variety of drug and biologic delivery applications.
