MediVas’ platform technology is based on a next generation
set of polymers exclusively licensed from Cornell University. Generated from
research both at Cornell and at MediVas, we currently have an IP portfolio
containing over 60 issued or pending US patents.
This family of biodegradable polymers represents a novel
approach to drug delivery, capable of generating products across a wide rage of
therapeutic areas. These polymers have set a new standard for next generation
drug delivery as they are fully biodegradable, biocompatible and bioabsorbable,
are non-inflammatory, safe and efficacious, and degrade by surface erosion
allowing greater control over the rate and duration of release of their
therapeutic payload.
